1. Movement Operation Manuals

Please identify your watch's movement and read the corresponding operation manual before first use.

Different movements have different winding, time-setting, and adjustment procedures. Following the correct instructions will help prevent improper operation and potential damage.

2. Getting Started — Automatic Watches

For NH34, NH35, NH36, NH38, NH72, Miyota 8285 and NH05 models.

Automatic watches are mechanical timepieces powered by a mainspring, not a battery.

Before first use:

1. Unlock the crown if your watch features a screw-down crown.

2. Keep the crown in its normal winding position.

3. Turn it clockwise to wind the mainspring.

4. Set the time and date according to your movement's manual.

5. Push the crown back in and secure it if applicable.

For NH-series movements, we recommend approximately 55 clockwise crown turns for a full manual wind. For Miyota 8285 and NH05, follow the respective movement instructions.

If your watch stops after being left unworn, this is usually normal. Simply wind it again before use.

Important: Wearing an automatic watch briefly may not provide enough power for it to run overnight. Begin with a proper manual wind.

3. Getting Started — VK63 Quartz Chronograph

For SEIKOTONA and other VK63-equipped models.

The VK63 is a battery-powered quartz movement and does not require winding.

Understanding the seconds hands:

• Large central seconds hand: This is the chronograph (stopwatch) hand. It normally remains stationary when the chronograph is not running.

• Small seconds subdial: This displays the continuous running seconds.

• Upper chronograph pusher (Button A): Starts and stops the stopwatch.

• Lower chronograph pusher (Button B): Resets the stopwatch after it has stopped.

Important: If the large central seconds hand is not moving, your watch is not necessarily faulty. This is normal VK63 operation.

Always stop the chronograph before resetting it, and avoid running the stopwatch continuously when it is not needed.

4. How to Operate the Crown

Some Watchbrick models feature a screw-down crown, while others use a standard push-pull crown.

For screw-down crowns:

1. Turn the crown counterclockwise until it releases.

2. Gently pull it to the required setting position.

3. Adjust the time or date as instructed in your movement manual.

4. Push the crown fully inward.

5. While applying light inward pressure, turn clockwise until securely tightened.

Never force or overtighten the crown.

Important: Always ensure the crown is properly secured before wearing your watch. Never operate the crown while the watch is wet.

5. Water Resistance — Important

All Watchbrick timepieces are conservatively rated at 3 ATM, suitable for everyday wear, light rain, and occasional splashes.

Do not wear your watch while swimming, showering, bathing, or diving.

Water resistance depends on multiple components, including crown gaskets, crystal seals, and caseback seals. Even if a watch passes a pressure test, this does not guarantee permanent water resistance under all conditions.

Avoid hot water, steam, and direct exposure to running water.

For regular swimming or diving, we recommend a purpose-built watch designed specifically for those activities.

6. How to Adjust Your Watch Strap

Most metal bracelets can be resized using the supplied strap adjustment tool kit.

If you are unsure how to remove or reinstall bracelet links, we recommend having a local watchmaker assist you to avoid damaging the bracelet.

7. Daily Care & Maintenance

To keep your Watchbrick timepiece in excellent condition:

• Keep the crown properly secured.

• Avoid swimming, showering, and prolonged water exposure.

• Keep the watch away from strong magnets and extreme temperatures.

• Avoid heavy impacts or dropping the watch.

• Clean the case and bracelet using a soft, dry cloth.

• Wind your automatic watch when necessary after extended periods without wear.

• Have servicing or movement repairs performed by a qualified watchmaker.

Mechanical watches are precision instruments and require appropriate care to maintain reliable performance.
