Return & Warranty Policy – WATCHBRICK

At www.seikomod.com.au operating under the brand WATCHBRICK, each timepiece is hand-assembled in small batches.
Due to the bespoke and custom-built nature of our watches, we operate under a Defect-Only Return Policy.
1. 30-Day Defect-Only Return Policy
We provide a 30-day limited return period for confirmed manufacturing defects only.
If your watch arrives with a verified defect or functional issue, you may request support within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery.
We do not accept returns for:
- change of mind
- sizing preference
- aesthetic preference
- buyer’s remorse
2. What Qualifies as a Defect
A defect must be confirmed by our technical team following review of photo or video evidence.
Eligible defects include:
- Movement failure (watch not running or stopping unexpectedly)
- Major timekeeping malfunction beyond acceptable tolerance
- Assembly defect affecting functionality
- Incorrect model shipped
- Damage occurring prior to delivery
Normal mechanical variation within acceptable tolerance does not qualify as a defect.
3. What Is NOT Considered a Defect
The following situations are not eligible for return or refund:
- Change of mind
- Preference for different dial or logo configuration
- Minor cosmetic imperfections within normal manufacturing tolerance
- Strap adjustment marks
- Damage caused by misuse, impact, or water exposure beyond stated rating
- Damage caused by third-party repair or modification
- General mechanical sound from automatic movements
4. Resolution Options for Confirmed Defects
If a defect is confirmed, we will provide one of the following resolutions:
- Free repair
- Replacement of the same model (subject to availability)
- Full refund (if repair or replacement is not possible)
The final resolution will be determined at our discretion following inspection.
5. Return Shipping Policy
For confirmed defects:
We will cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.
For non-defect cases:
Returns will not be approved.
All returns must be authorised in advance prior to shipment.
6. How to Request Support
Before returning any item, please follow the steps below:

Subject: Defect Claim – [Your Order Number]
Step 2
Include:
- Clear photos and/or video of the issue
- A brief description of the problem
- Your order number
Step 3
If your claim is approved, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with return instructions.
Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
7. Inspection & Processing
Once received, the watch will undergo technical inspection.
Estimated processing time:
- 3–5 business days for inspection
- Up to 14 business days for refund processing (if applicable)
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
8. Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase.
After 24 hours, assembly preparation begins and orders can no longer be cancelled.
9. Warranty Coverage
All watches include a 12-month limited mechanical warranty covering movement-related defects under normal use.
This warranty does not cover:
- Cosmetic wear
- Water damage beyond stated rating
- Impact damage
- Third-party modification
10. Lost Parcel Policy
If a shipment is confirmed lost by DHL Express, we will:
- Reship the order at no additional cost, or
- Issue a full refund
